I confess, I am an Esquire man. I have been for several years now, and, while I don't always read all the articles, I think I read a sufficient percentage to justify my subscription renewal. The latest issue continues to justify my patronage, with the back page devoted to "Obits of 2006". My favorite? The obituary for "the last shred of human dignity"...
The Last Shred of Human Dignity died July 12 on the set of Big Brother 7 in Los Angeles. It was 47, 032 years old. The cause was contestant John Mulroney fellating a zucchini.
Frankly, I thought reality television had caused the death of the LSHD years ago; remember Who Wants To Marry a Millionaire? Oh, well; I guess that, even though I've watched medical programs on TV, I'm not a real doctor. So who gets to say the eulogy...?
